Over the past few weeks, we have been planning for “Unfailing,” a virtual TYMI experience, with Special Guest speakers Steve Carter and Megan Fate Marshman.  In these unprecedented times, our message in the Church needs to be one of hope. God has not failed us, nor will He.  He is UNFAILING!  We will be looking at His Unfailing characteristics throughout the week and learn to apply them to our lives in 2020. In a year where shifting, shaking and chaos seem to be the norm, we can trust in the Unfailing Love, Grace, Justice, and Truth of our Unfailing God! Psalm 59:16-17 NTL says, But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love.”  We anchor ourselves to Christ and declare Him, UNFAILING! In a day and time that is uncertain, He is our Unfailing God!

For the last two decades, I’ve been discovering what it means to be a pastor. Currently, I’m dividing my time between guest speaking for churches, events, and communities, developing communicators in mentorship programs, working with leadership boards to help cultivate strong internal communicators and strategy, studying and writing. My heart’s desire is to bring Jesus into every conversation and every space I occupy.

My first book, This Invitational Life, calls people to risk themselves to align with God’s heartbeat for humanity and is available wherever books are sold.

I’m co-hosting a podcast called Home Team about the intersection of sports, faith, and culture with Sam Ponder and Sam Acho. You can find it here. Currently, I live in Phoenix with my wife, Sarah, and our two kids.
