The mission of The Salvation Army Sunday School is to:
- Provide an opportunity for age-appropriate, interactive and relevant study of the Bible,
- Bring individuals into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and
- Build interpersonal relationships that will minister and actively disciple in the community.
Effective Christian Education has three components: Learning -Informational, Loving -Relational and Leading -Transformational. You can find the right class for your needs at your local Salvation Army!
Our traditional Sunday School, with curriculum that encourages in-depth study of the Bible. This is our “Informational” component.

WORDaction is the provider of Sunday School curriculum for The Salvation Army. Faith Connections provides age appropriate, relevant teaching that focuses on both Salvation and Holiness. These classes cover all ages from infants through senior adults.
Casa Nazarena De Publicaciones is the officially sanctioned Spanish language curriculum. It is written in Spanish, and is an annual curriculum.
Resources available include Sunday School curriculum, small group studies and library resources.

The goal of SONday’SCOOL is to share the love of God and the message of redemption to those we come in contact with in our community programs.
The primary mission of Sunday School is evangelism and Christian Education. The objective of SONday’SCOOL is both evangelism and Christian Education. Frequent decision opportunities are built into the curriculum.
To reach today’s postmodern child, we need to:
- Be real.
- Build relationships.
- Create community.
- Involve the child actively.
- Include fun.
- Teach accurate concepts of God at all times.
- Communicate the truth through God’s Word.
Baby Song is an outreach program for parents or guardians and their children from birth to age 5. Baby Song began as a Salvation Army initiative in Sweden, and quickly spread to both Norway and Denmark in the early 90’s. It has since been picked up in other countries as well, including The United Kingdom and The Netherlands, and has now come to the USA Southern Territory.
Baby Song has been successful in reaching un-churched families in many places. It is more than just a program – it is about relations and fellowship. It is about making a positive impact, by the means of music, singing and dancing.
Our non-traditional Sunday School, SQUADS is the “Transformational” component of Christian Education and Discipleship.
The mission of The Salvation Army Sunday School is to build interpersonal relationships that will minister and actively disciple in the community. It is the program that questions not just what we know, or who is our neighbor, but has our life been transformed?
SQUADS is non- traditional Sunday School. SQUADS is Sunday School classes held during the week, and away from the Corps building.
