First Look is a web-based curriculum designed for babies through 5-year-olds. Every element centers on giving preschoolers a first impression of their loving heavenly Father.
Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to kindergarten they know these three basic truths:

  • God Made Me

  • God Loves Me

  • Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

We start with curriculum for babies, providing a simple song to sing while changing a diaper. Toddler curriculum provides monthly activities for purposeful play. The extended toddlers curriculum adds a Bible story and craft each week. The real excitement starts when we reach the two-year-old and threes-through-fives and begin our Large Group/Small Group curriculum.
Large Group curriculum, known as Make It True, encourages all the children to gather together to worship and hear the Bible story. This can happen in the corner of a classroom or on a stage. Scripts are provided for both environments.
Small Group curriculum includes both introduction activities with Make It Fun and review/reinforcement activities with Make It Stick. You can choose from activities that reach every learning style. In addition, the oldest preschoolers have the Make It Real component that introduces them to keeping a journal and praying together.
First Look has an entire Parent CUE strategy provided with the curriculum. We give you materials to send home with your parents either weekly or monthly to encourage the learning to continue at home. We provide ideas for Play Time, Drive Time, Bath Time, Cuddle Time and Morning Time that connect what preschoolers are learning at church with what they’re hearing at home. We even have a Parent CUE app that parents can download where they can watch a weekly video together as a family. We know your parents are going to love the Parent CUE resources we provide, almost as much as you’re going to love watching your preschoolers grow in their faith.

252 Basics is a monthly web-based curriculum designed for Kindergarten through 5th-graders.
What’s 252 represent? It’s not our street address or the number of questions a 2nd-grader can ask in 20 minutes. Instead, everything we teach in 252 Basics is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.

In addition, 252 Basics focuses on:

  • 150 Key Bible stories
  • 4 Faith Skills
  • 30 Life Apps (practical applications of God’s Truth)

We provide curriculum and resources to be used in three primary environments. You’ll see these labels show up in your curriculum as well as resources and products.

  • Church (252 Groups – Large Group and Small Groups)
  • Home (252 Home – Resources to Send Home)
  • And in-between (252 FX – A Family Experience).

252 Basics is a Large Group/Small Group-based downloadable curriculum. We refer to it as 252 Groups. 252 Groups is organized around seven segments that make up an hour of programming. Here’s a recap of Sam Collier’s 7 Segments explanation:

The Seven Segments of 252 Groups from Orange on Vimeo.
Every lesson and resource we offer helps kids discover who Jesus is, and then shows them how to put their faith into practical action on a Tuesday morning when they’ve overslept or on a Friday afternoon when the teacher is playing favorites.
252 Basics is dedicated to helping children grow in wisdom, faith and friendship.

XP3 Middle School is a downloadable curriculum for students grades 6-8.
XP3 Middle School exists to help middle schoolers experience three things: wonder for who God is, discovery of who He created them to be, and passion for loving others. Everything we offer is designed to help middle schoolers begin to take ownership of their faith through these three basic truths:

  • I will love God because He will never stop loving me.

  • I will follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself.

  • I will live out God’s story so others can know who Jesus is.

XP3 Middle School is about more than just sermons and games (although we’ve got plenty of those). It’s a strategy designed to speak directly to a middle schooler – and the people who invest in them, too. XP3 Middle School is an opportunity for you to breathe a sigh of relief. We help you get it done without getting burned out. We think through the environment, teaching, small groups, and strategy for you, so you can do more of what only you can do in your middle school ministry.
We believe in you — as a leader and as a person passionate about the next generation of students. And we want to partner with you to help each student in your ministry to see God for who He is, to see themselves the way God sees them, and to love others the way He loves us.
We help you get to where you want to go by giving you more . . .

MORE TOOLS

XP3 MS gives you a strategic three-year scope and cycle so you can see what you’ll be teaching next month, next season, next year… even for the whole course of a middle schooler’s time in your ministry! Every series in our scope and cycle provides topical and biblical content on what a middle schooler needs to hear (and when they need to hear it) throughout their middle school years.
Here at XP3 MS, we know that parents are the primary influence in the life of a middle schooler. That’s why we want to help you engage the family, as you come alongside and equip parents to support their student’s faith. XP3 MS includes a Parent Cue with each series that can prepare parents for conversations they may have with their student and challenges them to make the most of their influence in their kid’s life.
XP3 MS strives to help move students from learning information about God into experiencing a life of deeper faith, stronger relationships, and wiser choices. That’s because we believe application is crucial. That’s why XP3 MS creates an experiential activity (XP) for every series that will help middle school students continue to live what they are learning after they leave the four walls of our churches.

Live A Better Story is a small group curriculum that helps churches of any size develop a strategy to connect their adults to God’s Word in the context of small group conversations. This downloadable resource gives you everything you need to equip leaders and engage adult attendees regardless of where they are on their faith journey.

Our team is constantly creating new Live a Better Story series and resources so your team will always have fresh and relevant content for those who participate in your small groups. Each series includes teaching videos, teaching scripts, suggestions for the small group environment, small group discussion guides, and even a communication plan so leaders can more easily connect to their groups throughout the week.

Why small groups?
God wired us for community. He’s uniquely designed us so that we discover more of Him when we’re in community with one another. That means connecting on a real, personal level with those around us.
Where did the idea for small groups come from?
When it comes to small groups, we take our cue from Jesus. From the very beginning, Jesus taught His followers to live and grow in their faith in the context of a group of believers. In fact, that’s how the church began—small groups of Jesus followers, meeting to pray, encourage each other, and grow together.
How do I even know where to begin with Live a Better Story?
There’s a series guide that should be read before you (and your small group leaders) start each series. In the guide, we set you up with everything necessary to prepare your group meetings. There will also be a short video that explains the heart of the series, as well as a welcome email that small group leaders can send to their group members to let them know what to expect each week.
What elements are included in the Live a Better Story curriculum?
Teaching Videos
With each week of Live A Better Story, we provide a teaching video to show during small group. These videos last between 12-15 minutes and are designed to be played at the beginning of the group time. These videos are created by pastors, teachers, and theologians, and provide the group with sound biblical teaching while freeing the small group leader up to focus their attention on something only they can do—develop relationships and lead the group.
We believe that true discipleship happens in the context of a conversation, not just a lesson. And that’s why everything in these teaching videos will point to the conversation that will take place afterward.
Discussion Guides
The small group discussion questions are a suggestion, not a formula. Ultimately, the goal of discussion time is to have meaningful conversation. The small group leader has the freedom to adjust the questions as needed. Remember that the leader doesn’t need to have all the answers to lead this study. Leading is about helping others have helpful conversations about faith. If that happens, it’s a win!
Connection Plans (Weekly Communication and Bible Reading)
Good relationships develop over time. So it’s important for each small group to connect outside the one day each week when they meet. With that in mind, Live A Better story provides the leader with tools to help stay engaged with their group. Each week, they’ll receive a “weekly email” that is already written for the group. All the leader needs to do is copy, paste, and add any details that are specific to their group (like meeting location or time). They’ll also get a couple of social media posts for the week and text messages they can use to keep in touch with their group no matter how they like to communicate.
We also want to help leaders have a plan for their groups to connect with God each day. That’s why for each week that the small group meets, they’ll receive a Bible Reading Plan with Scripture and a short prayer or prompt to get the day started. Some groups may want to use a physical Bible Reading Plan that is handed out at the beginning of the week. So we’ve provided a page that can be printed out and copied for the group. For other groups, technology may be helpful. So we’ve provided the same images with Scripture in a folder that the leader can post to social media or text to the group each day along with the prayer prompt.
We hope you enjoy Live a Better Story. It’s our prayer that your adult attendees’ faith and communities will flourish and grow as a result of it.
