SAMANTHA EDMONDS is deeply involved in ministering to the youth of the Albany Corps. While Sami graduated from Corps Cadets in 2014, she has not completed her time with the program. Without being asked, Sami went to her Corps Officer and asked to lead. She is now the Corps Cadet Counselor for her corps’ brigade. Sami has also organized once a month teen events, with activities like art classes, and arranges for special guest speaker to come and teach. Sami leads in a variety of other way, including teaching timbrels, and challenges the young people about their actions in a gentle and loving way. She often gives of her own resources to bake cupcakes and cookies for the youth of the corps. She is an active Corps Council member and participates in leading during the Worship Services. Sami is a tremendous help to her Corps Officers and we are proud to have Sami as a young adult and leader in the Georgia Division!
